If there is one thing Brad Rickerby knows, it is money. He knows how to make it and more, he knows how to save it. Brad started out in the financial services professions straight out of college. He worked as a personal financial planner to clients of all levels of income. Finding his clients ways to save was always high on his priority list.
Brad went on to get an MBA at Duke University. Duke, at the time he earned his degree, was a top ten (USA) ranked school. His concentration was in finance. With his Master’s degree in hand, Brad took a job as a Wall Street executive. Specifically, he was the Division Controller for the Retail Services Division of the Dreyfus Corporation. If there is one thing that a Controller does, it is to cut costs and save money.
The division Brad worked in had an operating budget in excess of $150 million. That left a lot of room to save money. Brad left Wall Street to run his own business as a freelance photojournalist/photographer. His tenure in this position lasted over 20 years. To survive in any business, particularly one that is creative, one has to be ruthless at saving money.
Brad Rickerby has acquired a wealth of money saving ideas through his professional career. That has added to a comprehensive knowledge of personal and business finance. His money saving ways have, of course, spilled over into his personal life.
